Internship (Concentrix)

              In our last week as intern at Concentrix, we still have lots to learn about how MIS work as an IT department and how would IT work at the field like Concentrix or more like what we call center field. It is a great experience for as intern to work and at the same time to learned at Concentrix, because we are preparing ourselves to the near future as an official employee or worker. Sooner or later we are going to find work and pursue our dreams, and On-the-job training is always part of it as an experience.                Our last week was great, every week we had new learnings. We shifted our work time into graveyard shift (10pm-7am). The common work in this shift is answering calls, we fixed some problems and complaints of the agents.           Floorwalk Details In our 5th week, FLOORWALK task is given to us. Floorwalk is checking all the working station, checking if the stations are working correctly, if the stations hardware are complete or if the stations are having problems with some important applications/software.            We also check if the station can go to their site "ces.concentrix.com" or it can check the IP address through browser "10.10.1.15/myip.php".           We create user account in some station in AMAZON department, we create administrator account to allow us to install important application. Installers are stored at share drive, therefore we have to access it using the administrator account.

               In our 4th week, we didn't got to much work because it's our enrollment and we went home, therefore we are absent for 2 days because of that. But in our present days, we have some duties at NETGEAR. We disable the windows update in all windows 10 stations. Some agents are complaining because it consumed more time just to login their accounts, some stations takes more than 15 minutes. We also uninstall the "IDLE Auto Shutdown" because sir Andy told us to do so. 

           On our 3rd week as an intern here at Concentrix, we are making ourselves more comfortable with the environment because it's been a while since we started.              Within this week, we did a lot of work. We did port tracing because some agents are complaining at their internet connection. We also installed video card at the training section at NetGear and setting up the computer unit ask by our supervisor. Inventory of tools is also our duty as an OJT, after that we went to Linksys for floor walk.

              On the 2nd week of our duty here in Concentrix, we made a lot of things. On Monday, we did the floor audit, also we reformat some computer unit on NETGEAR in the training section. We also did the cloning after reformatting and then we install some important software in every unit. After that we clone hard drive using Acronis and other software that will fit in depends on what kind of hard drive we are going to use.               Within this week, we also did the port mapping. Me and my colleagues traced where the problem was, connected to networks. After that, we made networking and IP addressing lecture with Sir Dan. He thought us how important IP addressing in the business like theirs.
